they handle the drinks.

we are embracing the camera...this is daddy and layne coloring a transformer coloring book on the super long plane ride to mexico a couple weeks ago. but i thought the picture was too cute.

at one point layne was watching a DVD on the plane with headphones on. and you know when you have headphones on and you try and talk...you're super loud, right?

layne was watching quietly and all the sudden yelled(not-on-purpose) at me across the aisle,
hey mom, where's the ladies that handle the drinks?

what!? i said (not because i couldn't hear him, but because i was like, did he just say what i think he said?).

and so he yelled even louder and more pronunciated...
THE LADIES...WHERE'S. THE. LADIES.
THAT
HANDLE
THE
DRINNNNNKS?
i need some of that apple juice they have.

oh my word. layne. you are brimming with so much personality...where do you get words like this? hilarious child.

go get your embrace on at emily's blog-a-roo

  2. Layne is awesome
that reminds me of when Logan was younger. He called all the girls he knew "my ladies" as in "Hey Logan we are going to so-and-so's house tonight" "Will my ladies be there?" so embarrasing but funny out of the mouth of a 4 year old.

  6. I love little kids' weird sayings! the other night Greg said we should get out of our van and go up to these people's house and "click their ding dong" and tell them how pretty their lights look.

  21. My children never say embarrassing things in public. Nope. I have definitely never had "stomach problems" in a public bathroom and had my son announce to the entire store "My mom had diarrhea in the bathroom" as loudly as possible. Nope. That has never happened to me.

(Just thought you should know you aren't the only one! :)
